My house smells yummy.

I promise you one thing here on this blog.  I will never recommend a product I don't love.  I also won't say a product is better than it is.  But, I will definitely share favorites with you.  I suppose I could have saved this for a 5 Faves list, but I wasn't sure how I'd categorize it, so I decided it will get it's own post.

I heart my Scentsy burner.  Like big time heart.  I got a plug in burner and two fragrance bars as a gift for my birthday from my mother-in-law.  Ever since, I've been hooked!  I turn it on pretty much every day and I love how my house smells when I use it.  If you're not familiar with Scentsy, Scentsy makes plug in ceramic burners that you place scented wax squares on top of.  The wax melts at a warm but not hot temperature and the fragrance is released.  The heat is created by a light bulb in a burner, so it doesn't get super hot (unlike a candle, if you forget it's on, and leave it on for several days your house won't burn down, which clearly is a plus ;-)).

I promised you I'd be honest here... while all of the scents are pleasant, some are definitely stronger than others.  I currently have 4 fragrances on hand.  Pretty in Pink, Black Raspberry, Cinnamon Clove and Hazelnut Latte.  Out of the 4, Hazelnut Latte is by far the strongest (and my favorite).  They all smell GREAT, but some seem to fill the room and others, the house.  Regardless, I absolutely love using my burner, and I find that one $5 Scentsy "bar" (each bar contains 8 squares) lasts a lot longer than my favorite over priced candles do.

The main reason I'm posting this, is because I was not familiar with Scentsy until recently, and it's something I now use and enjoy everyday, so in case you are currently unfamiliar and enjoy fragrances in your home, I thought I'd pass the info along.

If you're interested in purchasing Scentsy products, my friend Julie works with the company and you can order online through her here if you'd like.  (For the record, I started using/loving these products before she became involved with the company and she has no idea I'm posting this).
