Contest: Win a family 4-pack of tickets to Storyland/Playland!

Keegan and I are SO SO excited that this weekend marks the grand re-opening (for the spring/summer '11 season) of Playland!  (Or as Keegan calls it "Fresno Disneyland")  We are pretty much counting down the hours at this point at our house.

I have been given the great privilege of being able to offer you, my lovely readers a chance to win wristbands for a family of four to enjoy both Storyland AND Playland ALL day!  (I have two 4-packs to give away!)

Want to know how to win?  It's EASY!  All you have to do is post a comment with your favorite Storyland/Playland memory from your childhood OR if you've never been- check out the Storyland/Playland website and let me know what ride you are most looking forward to riding (or watching your children ride).

For an additional entry, you may Tweet about this contest (you must include the link to this post in your tweet) and post a comment saying "I Tweeted!" with a link to your tweet.  For one more chance to win, you may post about this contest (with a link) on Facebook as well, then simply comment again here with a link to your Facebook post.

So there you have it- 3 ways to enter, 2 winning families, 2 amazing parks!  Let's kick off this new season right and enjoy our "Fresno Disneyland" together :-)  On Friday, February 4th, two winners will be selected from the comments at random and posted here.

Good luck!

  1. So if I enter and win, does that mean I get to come to Fresno and visit again? :-) My stepdad is there right now (and goes back and forth alot), maybe I can just hitch a ride with him. LOL!

  2. Storyland is actually one of the first memories I have from my childhood. I remember going when I was like 5 years old with my 3 cousins. I remember running around with these keys that you would put into these keyholes and it would play a story (don't know if they still have that, its been years since I've been). I'm looking forward to taking my daughter for years to come.

  3. Aw, Storyland! I grew up in Mariposa, and was lucky enough to visit Storyland several times. I have fabulous and fonder memories of family trips there. Storyland played such an important role in our family - that upon my college graduation - my mom "gifted" me my Storyland key... so that I would always have the key to my childhood! I live in the Bay Area now, but my family still lives in Mariposa and my in-laws live in Fresno. I can not wait for the first chance to take my two year old to Storyland. Perhaps this summer!!

  4. Well, I didn't grow up in Fresno but I did take my 3 yr old son there last summer and he loved it! His favorite ride was the helicopters, but he really wanted to try the ferris wheel. Maybe this year.

  7. LOL... my "favorite" umm... strongest was having a panic attack on the dragon "roller coaster" when I was 9 or 10. Never did outgrow my dislike for roller coasters. My boys love the train (Thomas-obsessed, both of them!)
