Fresno Friday: Dusty Buns Bistro Bus!

A lot of the folks I connect with on a regular basis via Twitter are already well aware of (and likely tipped me off to) the AMAZINGNESS that is the Dusty Buns Bistro Bus, but I feel it is my duty to anyone who reads this blog, that MIGHT come to Fresno, to pass along to good word about the source of the best thing I've ever eaten.

That's right, I got the best thing I ever ate out of a food truck and I wish the truck followed me everywhere.  Except, I'd be house sized, but, I digress...

If you're thinking "this chick wants me to track down a food truck to get my grub on?" the answer is YES.

Dusty Buns Bistro Bus is owned and operated by Kristin and Dustin Stewart, both professionally trained chefs who have a passion for making amazing food together using locally sourced, organic ingredients.  If you think that means they charge an arm and a leg for your food? You're wrong :-)

The amazing foods prepared by the Stewarts are very reasonably priced, and portions are generous.

The order that has forever hooked me on Dusty Buns?  The "Le Grilled Cheese" sandwich, served on a freshly baked "dusty bun" made with aged white cheddar, thick sliced peppered bacon, arugula and made from scratch herbed mayo and an order of their potatoes, which are perfectly roasted and seasoned fingerling potatoes with sriracha mayo dipping sauce.  These two items are very filling (I could easily have split both. I didn't, but you know, I could have ;-)) and it was less than $10 total.

The best thing I have ever, ever eaten. No joke.
So, are you drooling yet?  Want to view the rest of the menu?  Find out where to track down the Dusty Buns Bistro Bus and score AMAZING food for yourself and every person you've ever liked?  (You really will want to take everyone)  Visit the website for times/locations and the menu.  You can thank me later ;-)
