It only took me a year and a half...

...of saying I would do it, but I FINALLY completed an organization project that has been nagging me for an entire year and a half.

I cut out every recipe from my Cooking Light and Everyday Food mags that I liked (or still want to make) and put them in a recipe binder.

I can not tell you how nice it is to have it all done!!!  It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal, but it so is.  Since I completed the project Saturday afternoon (during Keegan's naptime, perfect amount of time, took me about two hours) I have already used the recipe binder three times, and it is so much nicer to not go hunting through a magazine for the right page!  (I know what you're thinking right now, you're thinking "duh" and you know what, that's totally fair of you, really.)

Added bonus too, I've cleared up about a foot of counter space too chucking the old magazines now that I've got what I wanted most out of them.  Less clutter = happy Nat!

What projects have you been putting off forever that you KNOW you'll appreciate when they're done?

  1. I like this and have meant to do the same...keep putting it off/forgetting though. Haha! What did you use for your binder pages? Were the pages from a planner/notebook?
