Contest: Win a complete holiday feast!

------------------------------------------------Drawing is now closed----------------------------------------------
Congratulations to our winner, Angel! Enjoy your holiday feast!
Thanks to everyone who commented as well, I hope to do more giveaways for you soon!

Last month, my friends from Fresh & Easy were kind enough to contact me about a neat opportunity for my family, and you, my lovely readers!

Did you know Fresh & Easy makes delicious, ready-to-go gourmet holiday meals? All you have to do is log onto their website, choose your main course (which comes with fixings, and a free dessert!) and three generously portioned side dishes, tell them when you want it ready, and for just $50-60 you can feed a crowd of up to 8 family members?

I have to be honest, as frequently as I shop Fresh & Easy (most Sunday afternoons), I didn't know about the holiday meals!

The store was kind enough to offer our family one of their delicious meals in time for Thanksgiving, and, provide an additional meal for one of your families, to help make your holiday season easier, more relaxing and of course, tasty!

Originally, my plan was to order the meal for our family, take photos of the yummy food and blog about our meal. However, the closer we got to the ordering deadline, the more it struck my heart how lucky we were to be able to provide a holiday meal for our family (I had been planning my shopping list from Fresh & Easy before they'd even contacted me, in fact!) and how many families are still struggling to make ends meet in this economy. So, I got in touch with Fresh & Easy, and they were happy to give me permission to donate our family's meal to a family in need, which we did.

It was so nice to have the opportunity to give back this Thanksgiving! (Thank you Fresh & Easy!)

And now, time to give again!

If you would like to win a delicious, gourmet prepared holiday meal from Fresh & Easy, to order and enjoy anytime this holiday season, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me what you'll get to enjoy doing instead of having to slave over a hot stove all day!

Don't forget to leave an email address with your comment, so I can contact you if you win!

For an additional entry, you may Tweet or Facebook about this contest (be sure to link to this post) and leave me an additional comment stating that you did so in separate comments. (Max of three entries per person)  To enter, you must be near enough to a Fresh & Easy store to pick up your holiday meal. (Store locator)

The winner will be chosen using random.org this Saturday, December 1st, and announced here on this post. To enter, you must be near enough to a Fresh & Easy store to pick up your holiday meal.

Also, if you'd like to give back this season as well, Fresh & Easy stores have convenient canned food donation bins in every store, so next time you're shopping, it's easy to add a few items! All items are donated to local food banks to provide for families in need.

Here's a sneak preview of some of the delicious dishes you get to choose from if you win (or, if you wish to order yourself of course! I don't think I could come close to making these dishes for a crowd of 8 for $50-60, so it really is a great deal and great idea!).

Looks good, huh? Give yourself a night off this holiday season and enter below. Good luck!

Disclosure: Fresh & Easy has provided me with a gift card to purchase our family's meal, which was donated to a family in need. This post is entirely my own, and I was not asked to write anything in particular by Fresh & Easy. I am happy to write about them, as they are a business I personally frequent and have had great experiences with.

  1. I have been wanting to try these meals! I am having a big family gathering at my house for Christmas, and if I did not have to cook and prepare everything, I would actually get to sit and enjoy myself and talk with my family for once!!! :)

  2. Fresh & Easy is so awesome! Instead of having to cook everything from scratch, I would get to cuddle up with my daughter and our cat to watch movies and relax by the tree!

    Thanks!

  4. If I were lucky enough to win, I'd take me wife to Disneyland! I know everyone says that after they win something big, but I'm a real Diseyphille and I love the way it's decorated for the holidays.

  5. Honestly I am so grateful whenever I don't have to cook I would be happy with anything. All of it looks great, especially the turkey. We came across a Fresh and Easy a few weeks ago and it's great!

  6. All the food looks great. I think I would be grateful that neither my mom nor I have to cook and would probably use that time to catch up movies, a good book, or use the money we would have spent on the dinner, going to the movies.

  10. Omg this would be FABULOUS! I am having wrist and thumb surgery on December 6th on my right hand, (of course I'm right handed). And I usually host CHRISTmas dinner at my house, but since my hand will be out if commission for 6-8 weeks I wasn't sure what I was going to do. This would be the icing on the cake for the holidays!

  11. If I was lucky enough to win I would be able to enjoy my time with my family and friends instead of cooking and cleaning all day. I would get to go outside and play football with the kiddos and just had a great family day! You can never have enough family time! Thank you Nat for the opportunity!
